Accessibility statement

ORA Yam Suf is committed to serving every guest equally, and works to make this website usable by people with disabilities, in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998 and the regulations issued under it.

Level of accessibility

This site was made accessible to Israeli Standard IS 5568 level AA, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines. It has been tested in current browsers and on mobile devices.

What has been made accessible

  • A permanent accessibility menu on every page: larger and smaller text, dark and light contrast, grayscale, highlighted links and headings, a readable font, increased spacing, a large cursor and an animation stop.
  • Your chosen settings are stored on your device and stay in effect across pages and on your next visit.
  • Full keyboard navigation, including a "skip to main content" link and a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • Correct semantic structure with a heading hierarchy, alternative text on images and labels on every field and button.
  • Screen-reader support, with ARIA on the menus, the accordion and the galleries.
  • The site is available in four languages — Hebrew, English, Russian and French — with full right-to-left support.

Accessibility of the apartments themselves

Our apartments are in different buildings around Eilat and their physical accessibility varies. If you need a particular arrangement — step-free entry, a lift, an accessible bathroom or nearby parking — please contact us before booking and we will check which apartment suits you.

Exceptions and limitations

Some parts of the site, chiefly third-party content such as the external booking engine and maps, may not be fully accessible. We work with those suppliers on continued improvement, and we are always glad to complete a booking with you by phone or WhatsApp. In addition, the green action buttons and the message ticker use the ORA brand colour with a white label, a contrast ratio of 2.4:1 — below the 4.5:1 required. The accessibility menu offers a dark or light high-contrast mode, in which every button and the ticker are repainted in full black and white.

Accessibility feedback

If you run into a difficulty or a fault relating to accessibility, we want to hear about it and put it right. Contact us by phone or WhatsApp and we will handle it as quickly as we can.
